Upcoming IMEO Sessions
The International Mathematical Excellence Olympiad (IMEO) is conducted twice per year to provide university students with multiple opportunities to participate.
IMEO sessions are organized on a regular international schedule, ensuring consistency and accessibility for participants worldwide.
IMEO – Janurary Session

Month and Day: January 25th
Format: Online
Level: University (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD)
Participation: Individual
Language: English
The January session of IMEO is intended for students who wish to participate during the winter academic period. Registration typically opens several weeks prior to the competition date.
Participants of the January session receive official IMEO certificates indicating participation in the January International Session.

IMEO – AUGUST Session
Month and Day: August 15th
Format: Online
Level: University (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD)
Participation: Individual
Language: English
The August session is designed for students participating during the summer academic term. This session provides an additional opportunity for students who were unable to participate in the Januray session or who wish to strengthen their academic portfolio.
Participants of the August session receive official IMEO certificates indicating participation in the August International Session.

All participants who complete an IMEO session receive:
An official digital certificate of participation
Session designation (June or November)
International Olympiad recognition
Certificates are ready in 1 week after olympiad
High-performing participants may receive certificates of excellence.
